Trinity
Regional School is a Catholic Elementary school which
services the educational and religious needs of the students
in the communities of East Northport, Huntington Station,
Northport, Centerport, Greenlawn and Melville. Trinity
Regional is located at three campuses. Our East Northport
Campus houses grades Kindergarten through Eighth. Our Early Childhood
Campuses at Melville and Northport house Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten.
Trinity Regional School offers a comprehensive educational
program from Nursery School through Eighth Grade. Nursery
for 3 year olds concentrates on the social and physical
growth of early childhood. The emphasis of Pre-Kindergarten
for 4 year olds is the intellectual, physical, social,
spiritual, and emotional growth of each child. Kindergarten
lays the foundation for a child to become a thinking,
caring student. Included in the Kindergarten Program is
instruction in Art, Music, Library, Gym and Computers. Our
Kindergarten is a full day program. In Grades One through
Eight, Trinity Regional adheres to New York State and
Diocesan guidelines in all subject areas. Our curriculum
is enhanced by classes in Computers, Foreign Language,
Art, Music, Library Studies, and Physical Education. Remedial
and Gifted Programs are offered to those who qualify.
Our Faculty
consists of dedicated, creative, caring religious and
lay teachers who are certified by the New York State Department
of Education. Trinity Regional School is chartered by
the Regents of the University of the State of New York.
The school maintains membership in the National Catholic
Education Association and numerous professional societies. Trinity Regional School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Trinity Regional School offers a variety of activities
which enrich the curriculum and expand the opportunities
for our students in Grades One through Eight. All families
are members of the Home-School Association. Its purpose
is to foster interaction among members of the school.
Activities are of a social, spiritual, educational and
fundraising nature. A major activity of the HSA is to
raise funds to benefit the school. Prospective families
